ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,726,453 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 02 February 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,726,453 Covid-19 cases, this includes 314,206 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,369,391 people (144,348 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,569,665 people (54,054 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,876,324 people (31,985 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,456,551 people (22,210 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,286,750 people (37,777 deaths)
- Myanmar: 536,393 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 359,075 people (858 deaths)
- Laos: 134,438 people (551 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,390 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,476 people (98 deaths)
